How to capture defects on site

1. Claim an area — tap the room you are inspecting so your name shows “In progress”. Other inspectors see which rooms are taken.
2. Take a photo and choose the surface (floor, wall, ceiling) and defect type from the quick-access chips.
3. Keep shooting — the app remembers your last defect per room so repeat issues are one tap.
4. No internet? Photos save on your phone. They upload automatically when you are back online. Check the upload strip at the bottom of the screen.

Tip: In Settings → PDF reports, choose Full evidence (4000px) if you need zoomable crack photos in the handover PDF.
